“A weird match where the luck changed a lot back and forth, but in the end gave Bloody_Rocky the boot.

A bad opening left my rats taking a tremendous amount of blows, but I was fortunate with the armor rolls and despite Bloody_Rocky running in a TD I could muster 9 men with 2 in the KO box. There was still enough time for me to probe his defense and finally manage to tie the match before half time. I also managed to smack two of his linemen out courtsey of Persterclaw, who was on a roll tonight.

In the 2nd half I had the kickoff and managed to score again in turn 7. Confident that my opponent wouldn't make a 2 turn TD I sat back and enjoyed the show. Then the ref decides to adjust for injury time and the match was suddenly alive again!

Way-Ya started charging through my ranks and KO'd and stunned rats to the left and right. It didn't look good. Still, with one more turn to go I managed to block his ball carrier with my gutter runner and run Pesterclaw in for a 2 die blitz with one reroll in the bagage. He falls on the GFI, wasting the reroll, and then racks up double skulls. I'm left shaking my head, and thinking that a tie perhaps is fair after all...I had some luck earlier in the match.

Bloody_Rocky now only has to 2 die the guy blocking him and run the TD in. Obviously he repeats my performance and rolls double skulls. Having wasted all his rerolls the match actually ends with the Basement Crawlers as winners. Never thought this day would come, hehe.
