We are low on players coming up to the game, our opponents have a healthy 14 man roster. We hoped to even the odds by bringing a wizard, hoping he will be more useful then a rookie skink. Wrong!

We win the toss and elect to kick, the norse pick up the ball and start moving up the field, suddenly there is a tremendous crash as the ogre charges right at our kroxigor, both of the hoge beasts are smashed to the ground, but only the ogre stands back up. :(

The momentum has shifted to the norse team, a moment later a saurus is knocked cold and then a skink badly hurt. The coach orders the wizard to burn those rotten norsemen, the wizard mumbles arcane words and unleases a fireball at four of the norsemen around the ball. Amazingly all four of them somehow step out of the way and the fireball does nothing.

The lizards are not knocking many norse down, and only manage to ko one of their enemies in whole 1st half. A saurus is badly hurt and another one is ko'd. We are outnumbered for the rest of the game, and it is all over but the crying.

With only 7 players, we breifly knock the ball loose and manage to recover it in the 2nd half. I didn't want to risk a long pass with a skink, so I tried to protect him for 1 turn, but the norse took the ball back and scored. Then they scored a 3rd td on the last turn.
