“So, Elf Up was determined to join the Shufflers. We hope he finds fame and glory with his new team.
My luck was spotty; I actually lost Key Grip but due to a client error the game had to be reloaded and time was magically reversed to the first half, right before the tragic loss of Key Grip. So, this 39% luck only reflects one half of play. I think in actuality my number would be much smaller than that.
We have learned to avoid certain Shufflers players, yet every drive still begins with Mutilation players being carted off the field in droves.
About the only thing I can say positive about this match is that I finally had enough money to buy a Wardancer. Due to a tragic mistake, I thought a catcher and thrower would be better than a Wardancer. Experience has shown that we very rarely have time to pass (or catch) since our defensive line is almost immediately decimated.
The only time I did attempt a pass with my thrower to a catcher I failed it...even with all their skills and a team re-roll used! ”
“Although not quite as brutal as the 4-0 shutout we handed to the Forest Greens (not to be confused with salad greens, as my players seem to), this was a beating in a very painful sense, and I commend the Mutilation for sticking it out through the game.
Simply put, we punished the Elves, although we know not what for. "Stingy" barely described our defense, and by the last few turns of the second, the Elves were mainly trying to stay out of our way.
However, one elf in particular was unable to aboid us, and fell to the ground in the first half. On that note, I'd like to welcome the newest member of the Shufflers, Elf Up. As a new zombie Raised from the Dead, Elf is looking to make a name for himself and will fit in marvelously. Many thanks go out to the Greens for this outstanding player.
Kudos to xrobot for sticking it out, and making due with that terrible 39% luck.”
