The first half of this game saw the Wives and the Lions bashing the daylights out of one another with a total of 7(!) players winding up knocked out including the Lions' Ogre.
Getting a little to blood-frenzied the Wives get greedy and Buffy is crunched after an inept attempt at running out the clock on the goal line. Moral of the story - Score 'em when you can.
The second half saw the Wives prise the ball lose from the Lions, but not having scored in the first half, Parker Eziasson tried to move the ball for the score rather then being able to settle for keeping the ball away from the Chaos boys. A bad scatter off a poorly executed Dodge and it's a win for the Lions in Turn 8.
Parker did get some measure of revenge, blasting one of the Chaos Beastmen off the pitch as the final whistle sounded.
Lucky hits (by me aside) this one probably should have ended in a draw (either 0-0 or 1-1) and kudos to my opponent for being able to execute in the situations where I failed.”
