This match was a bit of a TD frenzy, and we both knew that eventually one of us would mess up giving the other the lead ... all it really was going to take was one poor roll, or one good blitz on the kickoff, and that would pretty much be game over.
With two touchdowns each in the first half, and then a continued one for one trade in the second, it came down to some unlucky dodges by the elves to give us a good blitz on the ball carrier, and a chance to increase the lead to a two TD difference.
All in all, it was a very close match, that could have gone either way at any time.

No question about it, this guy is a machine! Scoring every one of the elf touchdowns, there wasn't anything we could do to stop the bastard (that is .. until he failed a crucial leap roll).

Without a thrower, the elves would not have been able to get the ball to the scorers quite so easily. This fellow did his job just the way you'd want him to.
1 pt - #2 Hammas Sooka
I wasn't quite sure where to put this last point, but this guy was one of the most annoying elves on the field. The only tackler to actually play in the match (on either team), he was the player to watch out for. Although he didn't actually succeed in injuring any lizards, we felt a lot safer once Asspi removed him from the pitch.”
