“White Isles obsession with death, destruction and extreme luck continued in the opening match of the 3rd Season.
The Storm Warriors came into the match favourties due to the Bru's star wolf's absence but they never stood a chance as fate smote them down. 3 Elves fell to the Reapers Scythe with the Warriors Doctor unable to assist the unfortunate Arondekhenedor, to add insult he then appeared for the Bru on the next drive, his speed and dexterity replaced by a need for brains.
With one of their stars gone early on the Warriors could not mount an effective defense and spent the end of the first half on the run, casualties flowed from Nose's fouls and Knightwolf's claws, another elf fell and the situation looked dire. Halftime and 1-0 to the Necromantic Luckers.
Second half the elves showed their scoring skill tieing the game up and hoping for a massive change in fortune to help them in a bid for victory. Unfortunately this was not forthcoming and some lucky strikes further decimated their ranks leaving the Bru with an easy score for victory.
