The opening kickoff saw my fans stun NINE of the starting skaven on the field, and my blitz got a tenth stun. We failed to pick up the ball, but at the time it didn't seem to matter.

Three turns, and both of my rerolls, later, the skaven had the ball near their endzone - we were too busy posing and waving to our loyal fans to actually do much with the ball.

Luckily, we got it away from them, and scored, but it wasn't anything but luck at that point.

The skaven scored a routine TD on the next kickoff, after my fans stunned their tenth skaven with a rock, and we came back with a very typical dark elf TD before halftime - assisted greatly by our cheering fans.

The second half saw, naturally, cheering fans - my fans - to start out. The skaven formed a box near midfield, which we enthusiastically and rather bloodily began to dismantle...then one of my cover guys downfield knocked himself out, and the skaven scored to tie it up.

On the next kickoff, natually, our amazing fans were once again urging us on...unfortunately, the elf assigned to throwing duties tripped while trying to run a bit too fast, even with a reroll, the ball went into space, and the skaven scored to take the lead.

Our fans were saddened by this, and their tears (like rain) began to soak the pitch, which wasn't going to make it easier to tie it up but I can't fault them - elvish fans tend to be a bit sensitive. Luckily, Shift the Ape began beating his breast and posing near the sideline, which attracted lots of skaven attention, and they left Jadis (my witch elf) rather lightly covered. A completion, a blitz, and a few pushes later, we ended the match with a tie.

The commentators apparently felt that Shift's masterful display warranted MVP for our team, and who am I to argue?

We look forward to a rematch!
