“Nuffle served us both a large plate of affection. For my opponent it was injury rolls. The fact that I did my best to capitalize on my numerical advantage didn't help of course.
In my case it was the ball handling. After slowly moving towards a TD for six turns during the first half all i needed to score was to remove a no block player standing in the way for a clear walk into the end zone. Assists, Block and Tackle doesn't help when Nuffle hands you the dreaded double skulls though. So, first half ended 0-1.
Start of second half saw an failed pass, reroll, failed pass, failed catch, reroll, failed catch and a chaotic mess which ended up with a few injuries and a touchdown to the "feast". 0-2. Two turns to go, putting Flash on the line for a OTT, and hoping for a miracle making it possible to tie the game. And failed pass, reroll, failed pass, failed catch, reroll, failed catch...
By now the "feasts" were too few on the pitch to be able to stop me scooping up the ball and scoring a consolation TD however.
TomfromParis was great fun to play, and I'm truly sorry to see his team so mangled. He will have a hard time getting them back in shape.”
