“Well it was quite a match for both teams on monday night football. With 'Thee the family' entering the game with an unblemished season so far and the 'Rampant Lions' playing with a two game winning streak (one being a friendly).
Both coaches were hungry for another win and this showed on the field. The family deciding to recieve the ball first proved to be a wise decision as they held on to it well and literally battered their way up the field. In doing so, badly hurting and seriously injuring a few human players, there was also a near fatal wounding! But the apothecary was on top form and quickly had him playing again. With all the human players lying bloody and beaten on the ground the chaos had but one yard to the end zone, and they exploited their advantage by running down the clock, but boredom set in and the first point went to the chaos team.
With 2 turns left to score, a 'slightly' smaller human team set to work. A poor kick was recieved by duncan driver close to the half way line. He stormed up the field with incredible speed, dodging through the giant chaos players trying to squash him. And the team earned theirselves a TD.
With the scores at 1-1 both coaches knew it was all or nothing, with the Lions coach contemplating conceding in the first half due to so many injuries, he quickly changed his tune after the miraculous score by driver.
The second half proved to be a tight affair, a score was finally mustered by the lion's duncan driver again, about turn 5. The family tried their damnest to score back but lady luck had abandoned them, their eventual failure to score was gutting as the chaos player fumbled the ball literally yards from the TD line, during the final seconds.
So the Rampant Lions won the day, but at the hefty cost of 3 players being seriously injured. All of Thee the family left the field, angry but hungry for revenge. ”
