“A costly first match saw the Crows play a perfect defensive game to stifle the Bowlers but not without suffering heavy losses. Two serious injuries as the Dwarfs continually tried to batter their way through the Skaven backline looked to tip the balance in favour of the Bowlers. But for a last ditch blitz the game could have been tied and the subseqent pick up by Spoiler and run for the opponent endzone saw him score a deserved TD.

Whilst Spoiler ran the full length of the pitch for his TD in the 7th & 8th,
the Bowlers took out their fustrations on the remaining Skaven and soon bodies littered the playing field and bench. "Every rat for himself" echoed from the manager as his players scurried away from the big hitting Dwarfs.

A deserved victory from a tight, tactical battle. Shame about the injuries that could hamper the teams progress.”
