“First half, first turn, moved around a little, threw three ineffective blocks, pushes one of the defenders a bit to the side to make room for a move in the wide zone. His players surrounds me.

Turn two, a serie of 2db blocks will take me to a position for a break, starting out with a... double skull on the troll. The surrounded players in the wide zone starts stagediving.. no, crowdsurfing, ball ends on the ground.

Turn three, failed pickup. Followed by a long run of perfect block dice rolling, knocking one player down and pushing another into the crowd.

By now the ball is safely in the hands of a Bull Centaur, half of my players are off the pitch, and I continue to trip, throw defender down blocks and fall on gfi's. All in all a completely onesided first half.

Second half.

A running bull-centaur slips on a GFI and drops the ball. An orc blitzer makes a daring move, picking the ball up, dodging out of a tackle zone, succeeds on two gfi's and throws an accurate long pass! Which is caught by another blitzer!! All without using my team reroll for the turn!!! Amazing!

The Chaos Dwarves seemed a little stressed by the possibility of being scored against and pushed their luck (which obviously was pilfered by a grubby goblin) and failed miserably by falling over trying to reach my ballholder. Who scored the Manglers only goal.

Second drive of the second half saw a fight over the ball in the last turns a few squares away from my TZ. In is 8'th turn he needed to pick it up with a AG2 Bull Centaur to be able to score.. and he did.

Unfortunately the ball scattered too far for any chance of a thrown goblin to tie the game. A 1-2 loss, but hopefully the last half was a sign that the Nuffle dry spell is over for this time!

Dieter was a good sport, and a good coach taking maximum advantage of my bad rolls, at the same time protecting himself fairly good when the dice were against him. And showed good Chaos Dwarven spirit not even blinking as the spectators ripped one of his hobgoblins to pieces. ”
