“It was my first match with undead, and first tournament match ever (on the first round my opponent didn't show up) against ... Flix, 2nd coach standing in FUMBBL, and winner of I don't know how many tournaments (4 Deutscher BB Camps, 13 smacks, ...), playing Elves.
The match starts quite even, one of my zombies dies, but elves lose the ball, which stays dangerously in my half-field until an elf caughts it and gets into the end zone at turn eight. On the second half, undead make the typical 'box', and elves can't take the ball ... and start to lose 1-2 players. The only ghoul gets into the end zone at turn 6. The last two turns only make elves lose a couple of players more.
The extra time starts with seven elves in the field (against 10 undead), but they almost score (failed a double GFI) ... when undead took the ball against 4 (!!!) standing elves, they had to cross all the field but couldn't score. So finally, a tossed coin decides: it was definitely not Flix's day (6 BH!), but mine.”
