Ooooh what a game. A lot of cas. Both sides have new niggles, so that is hard to deal with. Especially as both your best players have a niggle.

My opponent played very well. A lot of my choice did turned out to be not so well and Joshzombie showed me which mistakes I had made. So I learned a lot this game.

Luckely for me, I managed to stop him from making the 2nd TD in the 1st half. And another very lucky situation was the failed dodge in the 8th turn of my opponent, so I could score the equalizer very easily.

An anoying thing was that Joshzombie complained a lot about the luck. OK my Black Orc made a high-risk-dodge-blitz-action, but there were also situations where luck left me standing alone. The Elves had far more cas. than my team, although my AV is 1 higher.....so that is also a kind of luck. At the end of the game, luck was the same on both sides.

Joshzombie one tip: do not only look at what is going wrong, but also enjoy the good things. And when you did this during the game, let me know that also (instead only the complains).

Luck's a shmuck. What can you do. You were fun to play against. I would like to play again. Many people learn playing this game...but few adapt so quickly. Remind me next time to stop feeding you advice. =)

Anyways...you are correct that the elfs got lucky with their cas rolls v. the orcs...and it was about then that I stopped complaining. As I have history with dark elves...bad memories come flying back when they mess up dodge rolls or roll 1-1 yet again (brings me to the time I rolled 8 1's in a row. No lie =). Anyways, it was a good game.

mennos: I did comment on the luck...but 3 times luck did save the game for you and I was in the clear. Also, despite that, I liked the fact you had a spine and went for the "crazy" play anyway...that is what earned you the tie...you will lose like that, but most coaches over time lose their spine in playing because they care more for their guys than the win. Always play for the win and you did, therefore you have my respect sir. As to my complaining...it was getting on 2:30 in the morning. Happens.
