#5 Sergei AxeArm – Dead (RIP)
Well the flag won this in the end, but it cost our unique thrower, AxeArm.

Still, no complaints about this one. TonyLB is a true player, complete with the occasional color commentary after turns. Despite injuries that would drive a lesser player insane, he kept up a cool attitude, so I tip my hat.

Very close game, despite the casuality differences. Used the winning to fill out the blitzer line and picked up my third goblin. They keep dying!

Thanks again for a sportsmanship unfortunately too rare on this!

#9 Brother Fang – Dead (RIP)
#10 Zook – Serious Concussion (-AV)
Our first loss, alas! But a victory well and truly earned by the Bloody Flag team. Plenty of blood on the field, that's for darn sure. I like to think that, given the natural resilience of the Orcs, we did fairly damn well for humans, giving a tombstone to remember us by.

I do like me those Block-capable Black Orcs. Got my eye on a bunch more of those for my own Orc team. They make for quite a meat-grinder to roll over other teams.

I'm not so convinced that freebooting Zug was a smart move for this match. I think that he boosted our Team Strength up to a level that the rest of the team honestly couldn't sustain. As I reassemble the team (shouldn't take more than one carefully managed game, I hope) I'm going to try to keep focussed on a solid, broad strategy of bringing everyone along together, rather than focussing on stars (whether freebooted or home-grown) as a quick fix.
