“1st round match in the Battle of the All Fathers (CCC).
The dice were obscenely in my favor this match. An very early blitz by a mummy killed a dwarf and drew out the apo. This allowed me to follow up a lame (no dp) foul by a ghoul with a DP boot which SI'd the Mino. My guys were wearing magnets under their gloves, cause every time that spikey ball was knocked free it jumped right into their hands. Mix in some one-die magic and his 1st posession turned into a scoring one for the Undead.
2nd half was more of the same and it allowed me to hold the ball until after his turn 5, go up 2-0, and all but cinch the win.
Rematch when my luck comes back to earth!”

Later I was forced to use my wizard to lightning the ghoul with the ball who was stalling on the goal line. The lightning stunned that ghoul but a prone ghoul managed to dodge, 1 die blitz a hobbo outta the way, pick up the ball and score.
That was pretty much it for my team, with only 2 turns left in the 1st half, we couldn't score back. Kicking to the undead in the 2nd half all they had to do was not let us score.
They scored again and hurt a couple more players. We managed to at least score a point on the last turn of the game.
