“Orcland Wooden Shield 11/06
------------------------------------------
The Big 'Urt played at the top of their game in their first tournament match, and outbashed the Nagash's Nehekhara...something khemri teams are probably not very used to.
Da_Bozz hade an amazing recovery rate (think he KO recovered 7 players out of 7 on the first roll), but I was incredibly lucky with the bonehead rolls, only missing 2 or 3 during the entire match. In the end I have to say that I outlucked my opponent, even if I hope my win was also due to good coaching.
It was a fun match and I had to work hard to get the goblins in close enough to support the ogres bashing the mummies, but without leaving room for them getting hit back, a tactic that worked very well. I only think the mummies scored one succesful block on a goblin during the entire match. Meep was killed by one of the skeletons early on in the game, but I decided to gamle and waste my apo and it payed out nicely.
Thanks for the match, Da_Bozz. I'll probably see you around in future Orca-Cola tournaments :)”
