“This was a hard fought and close game, almost marred by controversy due to a late foul by the Amazons! Fortunately the matter has been resolved, albeit with much debate (see the Forum entry on T16 fouls!).

Back to the game...the Khemri won a turnover midway throgh the first half at midfield, but could do little to advance their position. The half ended with much blocking and little flair.

In the second half, the Amazons kicked off and ended up rushing the ball in for a speedy TD after the Khemri throwers failed to get a handle on the ball.

After the following kickoff, the Amazons shut the game down and made it virtually impossible for the Khemri to score. However this was expensive to the Amazon roster, which sufferred the tragic loss of Penelope in her debut game, as well as an injury to Jenna.

Overall, a fine game with positives for both teams.”
