Coach Redhammer had been under a lot of pressure previous to this match. His teams had lost 7 of the last 9 including some devastating defeats for his rats.
This match fortune was smiling down on him though, especially the fact that Undead seemingly had lost their power of regeneration helped the humans. They received the first kick and within the first turn both teams had exchanged casualties. The Carnival managed to convert this possession into a 1:0 lead.
The demise of the Undead did not only have to do with their lack of regeneration but also due to the fact that the referee spotted nearly all fouls and sent players packing. They did manage the equaliser from the kickoff in the second half. The troupe had enough time to respond and easily brought the victory home.”
