Imo it could have gone both ways. Goals were exciting with loads of turnovers changing the balls hands almost every turn. We got one each on that behalf, so a 1-1 would have been nice. Just sad I was unable to stall it that last round.
His leaper and diving tacklers was very much the backbone of his team. That shows good choice of skills, I hope to get to the same strength in a few games ;)”

Since the weather (very sunny) and a kickoff event (blitz!) denied an elfbowl, big blocking and positioning game started. After some KOs, I had a number advantage and was able to score in 8th turn.
Hovring then took his time to score in 2nd half - even that it was with some problems (after forgetting about my Leaper - who twice managed to blitz the ball on 1d) but Doctors came out strong and scored at 7th turn of 2nd half.
I had 2 turns for winning TD, so I sent 4 players forward (AG5 leaper including) into scoring positions and moved the thro into backfield with the ball. After DoDs 16th turn I had all 4 of them standing but around was a bunch of defenders so I had to free someone to score. I tried by doing some blocks and blitz, but none of them worked even after the RR was used. So I had to try the toughest of choices and pass on the unskilled lino who was in 2 tackle zones ...
