“The Amazon's amazing defensive record was well and truly smashed in this game against the most talented team they have come across.
From start to finish offenses controlled the game, scoring at will. However, in the 2nd half the Amazons held the Elves a little longer than expected on a TD drive, and subsequently had too little time to respond with an equalizer.
They were forced into some desperate attempts, which unsurprisingly failed. in summary, the Amazons did not deploy deep enough on defense, but probably couldn't have stopped this team whatever they did.
Champ Bayleaf was a menace, whose prescence upset the hitherto-invcible Amazon defence. They need to work on their strategy once more time...
As a final note, the Elves had only 9 players - avoid them at all costs if they have 11!!!”
