“Well this match started out harsh with the M'Orcs fans throwing a rock that seriously injured Linda 'n' Thorg followed by a failed apothecary roll to keep her in the game. Needless to say, my outlook for the game was not positive.
A series of lucky one-die blocks managed to win the ball away from the Orcs and allow the Wives an improbable 1-0 lead at the end of the first half.
I foolishly got my hopes up as I was about to receive to open the second half. Nuffle squashed that with a blitz that saw the score quickly tied up at 1.
Then the dice gods simply left both coaches. The M'Orcs laid hit after hit on the Wives' ballcarriers, but a series of bizarre rolls saw the ball always end up in the hands of another Wives player. On the other hand, when the Wives tried to break free to push in the go ahead score there was nothing to be found on the dice but skulls.
In the end, I have to say I was lucky to escape this one with a draw and even luckier to do so with the rest of the team intact.”
