“A new season begins and another match against Da Greenskin Raiders (3 seasons in a row now). This time however the Men of Wood went into the match looking much stronger than their orcish rivals.
Da Raiders got their offence of to a pretty good start getting Surc Gougedeye into a solid cage which the Elves could not break into the whole drive. Some good scrambling in defence led to a big all in brawl which resulted in Obould popping up on the other side of the Woodies. Surc chucked it over the top and it was 1-0.
With time running out Drummo started his run into the endzone just before the kick had been taken. This proved vital as he made it in for the equaliser just as the siren sounded for half time 1-1.
Crowlockasaurus made it 2-1 with a regulation TD on debut. Da Raiders set up another cage which the WDDs thought they had stopped in its tracks on to see Surc toss another beauty pass straight into the arms of Badz who strolled in to make 2-2.
With plenty of time on the clock the Woodies tried to hold off till the very end to score the winner. Some miscommunication between Drummo and Van B saw the ball end up in Oboulds hands and not in the Endzone where it belonged.
The Woodies armour held up strong again and the Boys even managed to out punch their stronger opponents who did a good job to get a draw.

3pts: Surc Gougedeye - Created both the TDs and got his team out of a tight spot in the 2nd half.
2pts: Obould - Very solid game. Helped out on the LOS and in the offensive cages. Also showed some nice moves to grab the first TD
1pts: Cronx Bloodskull - Cronx was the cornerstone of every Orc cage. He just always seemed to be in the way. Gets the point ahead of Badz because Badz should have done more damage with all the punches he was throwing. Cronx was the cornerstone of every Orc cage. He just never budged.
Cheers for the game Sandune as much as i dread it i always look forward to playing you mate. You player positioning is up there with the best i have seen. Hope you can improve those armour rolls for the rest of the season”

After a boring but effective push through the first half the orcs managed to score, a silly positioning error at the end of the first, added with a quicksnap leading to a 1-turn elven touchdown right on half time. A nice elven touchdown flew through the orc defense at the start of the second, the Orcs responded quickly (for orcs)and with a stalled flank, they managed a successful pass to the other side of the pitch for a sneaky run over the endzone. With the last quarter remaining, the woodies stalled for the win, but the last turn pass was to a catcher caught against the sidelines by two Orcs, needless to say he went in...
