“The All-Stars figured on playing a more gentle opponent for there next game, so they scheduled the Fling rookie team the Noodlers. The All-Stars schedulers could not have been more mistaken, as this game turned bloody, fast.
Between the two teams, there were an amazing 11 combined casualities. Not this is not to say that the two Fling teams were being brutal, but rather that Flings are just fragile beings... As each bone crushing hit was leveled, you could here "Sorry chap!", or "Pardon me, I don't know my own strength", or "Opps... My bad...". An excellent show of sportmanship all around.
As for the game, the first half remained scoreless, despite an All-Stars pass that was almost a touchdown, and a failed sprint to the End Zone by the Noodlers. The 2nd Half started badly for the All-Stars, as the Noodlers blitzed. In the process, they knocked down both treemen, and surrounded the ball. It was just a matter of time before they score the games only point.
