#5 Davish "Pops" Krail – Dead (RIP)
“It seems that any game against the Mighty Quinn is more than just a challenge. The reincarnated Rebel Brash Pilots looked to dodge away with a quick victory today, but it was not to be. Originally piloting Gold-5 in the Battle of Yavin, Davish "Pops" Krail was to meet his destiny again (and again), as he was Killed In Action by Djer the Mummy. Though the apothecary staved off his fate, it was only temporary as he was to meet death again at the same hands once more.
On a great defensive play, the rebels dodged around the Khemri to pop the ball loose and score at the end of the first half. It was looking to be a 2-0 Rebel victory untill the Khemri Mummy Horus Aha pulled off one of the wildest plays I've ever seen.
The Mummy blitzed and then caught the bouncing ball. The next turn he passed a long-bomb (AG1 mind you...) and it was accurate and caught by another player I left wide open. I could have covered him, but I figured no way would a Mummy be able to pull this off. I was wrong and the Tomb Kings tied it up. Well done, and what a wild match.
The Rebel Pilots will miss Pops and have already used their winnings to recruit a new pilot to the Rebellion. Some of you may recognize him as the A-Wing pilot who crashes into the bridge of the Super Star Destoryer Executor in the Battle of Endor in Return of the Jedi.”

As the Pilots kicked off to start the game, they got an extra reroll... The two teams battled back and forth... "Pops" got killed by Mummy Djer and the apothecary healed him, but Djer was determined and killed "Pops" again... Fans could hear him say " Stay down" !!! Djer got Frenzy for his efforts... The Pilots still grieving over Pops were able to get the ball and score on turn 7 and as Biggs crossed the endzone he said, "This ones for you Pops"... The Pilots kicked off to the Kings who got an extra reroll...
As the Kings kicked off to start the 2nd half, the Pilots kidnapped the ref... The two teams once again battled back and forth but the Kings were determined and broke through the Pilots defense and Horus Aha blitzed the ball carrier and grabbed the ball from him as he went down... Then Horus Aha still pumped up from the blitz, moved down field and threw a long bomb to Hetepsekhemwy who was wide open... Teams 1st completion was made by a Mummy, go figure... Hetepsekhemwy scored on the next turn to tie the game...
Horus Aha got Movement on his skill roll and aged, niggled :(
The Kings purchased the contract of a Blitz-Ra and now will need money to replace Horus Aha...
