The Elves blew a first half possession by failing to spread the play, and suffered several KOs as a result. The subsequent greater numbers allowed the Amazons to dominate for much of the game.

There was some hope for the Elves, however, with some brilliant individual pieces of play - but all fell just short. Most notable was an Elf failing to pick up the ball mere yards from the endzone and a certain touchdown!

Overall, the Amazons deserved their 1-0 victory as they relied less on miraculous events (events which, unsurprisngly, did not materialize for either team).”
