“The crowds have gathered and are screaming at the top of their lungs for this match of the Cripple Peak Screaming Skulls vs. the Wind Witches. The coin's down and it's the skulls that will be receiving. Some serious blocking going on there, and the Skulls manage to secure the ball in a tight cage and ... ouch! that had to hurt. There is a stretcher on the turf and it appears we have a Skulls player down. But the match goes on and there, well, basically there is a pile of players near the sideline, all crunching into one another, the Witches trying to flatten the ball carrier while the skulls try to move further up the field, meanwhile taking as many of the women down as they can. A breakout towards the rear occurs among the skulls, but alas the Ref had his eye on the watch and the half time score remains 0-0.

The second half sees the Witches rushing forward through an early opening in the opponents' defences, but the Skulls don't let this happen so easily. Whoops, and there goes Pelican in search for some smelling salts, as Ilory takes her down as she tries to dodge. Now this is something else, the stretcher hasn't left the field yet or Ilory downs another amazon with a thump to the skull. This leaves the Witches in a 9-11 situation, but Magpie manages to break clear from her opposition and the ball is moved further up the field. Haelim manages to succesfully blitz the ball carrier, but the Witches are able to recover it and put the 1-0 on the scoreboard.

Still, with four more turns to go, the Skulls push on a hard drive, with the Witches buzzing all around them, yet the Skulls are able to maintain the initiative and drive the ball further up the field. And there goes Seoralu! All alone way up the field, a pass and OH! A fumble! Still, they are dangerously close to scoring an equalizing goal! And there goes Osprey, taking down Seoralu and pushing the ball into the crowds. But it gets thrown back in right along the end zone! Raven, the Captain of the Wind Witches goes to secure it in the last seconds of the game but STUMBLES! Haena picks up the ball for the skulls and manages a last second touchdown, making the score an even 1-1. What an ending to a nice match of solid BloodBowling!”
