“This was the 100th game for the flowers!

To celebrate the occasion we challenged a tough looking chaos dwarf team coached by Johan. Because of the special match we both hired a wizard (which both proved completely useless).

The game started with the Macintoshes kicking. According to plan the flowers quickly scored. The first rounds saw a lot of fouling which resulted in all dp's getting send off or being knocked out. The dwarfs retaliated with a classical dwarf drive resulting in a 1-1 on turn 8.

At the start of the second half it looked pretty bleak for the flowers with most of our key players knocked out or getting knocked out. I had nearly accepted the loss when my opponent got greedy and tried a hand off to his rookie bull. The ball scattered and the elves quickly made use of the opportunity by grabbing the ball and sprinting out of reach of the slow dwarfs. This resulted in a 2-1 with just 2 turns left for the dwarfs to tie. In the end we managed to knock the bull ball carier down and the game was decided.

Lets hope for 100 more games!”
