“VETERAN STUNTY CUP 4
-------------------------------------
This wasn't a pretty victory, probably my most slow played and cowardous game so far, but it was a victory and in retrospect I would have probably lost it if I played differently.
The victory was established mostly by my dirty player managing to avoid getting the refs attention and trying to keep the ball carrier out of reach from the opponent while slowly grinding him down.
In the 16th turn I hade an excellent chance of winning the match when gildor was forced to park his ball carrier just outside his own end zone and I could start the turn by using a lightning spell to take him out, snatch the ball and run in the winning TD. But I rolled a 4 on his agi 4 herder, nearly killing myself from frustration instead.
Nuffle seemed to listen to my whining though, because in OT luck changed in a huge way and I actually managed to clear the pitch. My most yellow belly move ever was when I completly surrounded his last player with my entire team while leaving a sole ball carrier waiting out the 8th turn in the end zone. Gildor made a valiant -3 die block to blitz his way out, but of course it didn't succeed.
Thanks for the match, Gildor. You got a nice team with a long history and all fluffed up. Sorry that I killed a nice player today. Take care!”
