LewdGrip's Dorfs stormed on to the field with a vegence. Rats dropped left and right. 6 Casualties (including the Rat Ogre Star early), and numerous KOs often left the field void of significant Furball presence.
In the 1st half, the Dwarves did a good job of stalling until turn 8, to give the rats only 1 turn to score.
One of the last original players of the Furball's, Knight, was then entrusted with making a One-Turn TD. A couple of chain pushes, and lucky dodges later, Knight Scored, making the score 1 - 1 at the half.
The 2nd half started with a Blitz, and the blitzing Longbeard caught the ball. Fortunately a few blocks later, the Furballs recovered the ball.
The Furballs tried to draw the Dwarves in, but held the ball too long. The intended rats down field got KOd, and the rats were in trouble, with no cage available.
The resulting scrum, allowed a lucky 1d pow, and ball bounce, putting most of the players in mid field, and a solo gutter with the ball deep in Dwarf territory. The rats managed then to tie up the dwarves, and stall long enough to secure the win.
Great playing Lewdie!
Good luck in next season. Those Dorfs are dangerous! ”
