“The fourth time these two teams faced off together, with the Heroes having a previous record of 0-1-2 against the CCC Champions.

I made 2 glaring mistakes.
1st half: changing my mind in mid turn putting an assist in the wrong place, then trying to revert to my original plan resulting in a no RR, 1 db skull...stupid, stupid, stupid.
2nd half: forgetting a longbeard had sf, not guard, another stupid, stupid. Stupid.

Both of these should of been devastating, but Nuffle seemed to what some would call "in a whimsical mood", but to what I would more likely call it "as damn *censored*ing annoying".

Whereas the first half was a defensive melee, as only a dorf and ork match up can do, the second half had Nuffle throwing the dice even more all over the place. Nuffle seemingly gift-wrapping each side with what would seem like a surefire td, then the next turn cruelly taking it all away. Culminating in a t8 with my blitzer standing 3 spaces away from the end zone. Casimir’s gobbo then proceeds to (without a RR now) stand up, dodge away from my tackler, gfi, throwing a 2d against blitz at Super Dead Dorf of Dooooom, resulting in a double Pow. Then the gobo goes for it again to pick up the ball. My 2d blitz with my tackling blitzer, after RR, ended up with only a push.

End of regulation play.

Overtime luckily had me receiving, picking up the ball I proceeded to cautiously march up the field. With the orks down a blitzer, and without their troll or str5 bob, the blocking game fell into the dorf's favor. There was little casimir could do at that point to stop my runner from trotting into endzone, and the Heroes into the Battle of the All Fathers (CCC) finals.
