#5 M. Kalinin – Smashed Knee (NI) #4 N. Jezov – Dead (RIP)
“Rough game for Smersj. Stalin was holding the flag up for as long as he stayed on the field. After being fouled 2-3 times but always coming back again to menace Parin safeguarding the ball deep in the Undaed half. Finally all the beating took it´s toll and the Blitzer had to see the second half from the side, next to the corpse of his former comrade Jezov.
Coach Hobo might have made a huge mistake when he orderd 4 players to smack down one of the mummys in the end of first instead of trying to reach the ball.
As it turned out in the end, the darkies were only one failed GFI away from forcing Parin to have to dodge his way into the endzone.
“The temples were full as followers prayed for their team.
The Great Necromancer Oblitzamanger's best players were fighting in their first battle. They were prepared to bring hell and fury to the sinners.
As the depraved Elves whirled away into the back corner, the brave Warriors of old followed. The Skeleton Mary Hatcher, who once was a cute Human Catcher, killed one of the condemmed, N. Jezov, before he had a chance to repent.
Despite smashing the ball holder, M. Rjumin got the ball and danced his way from two tackle zones. He then lifted his arm and saw it sail....
...over the head of his intended target. However, the ball was deep away from the Khemri, so it was relatively safe, guarded by two players. But Oblitzamanger's best players responded, getting four players around the ball in an incredible feat of speed, and knocked the Elf Blitzer, J. Stalin, down. Since the ref was too intimidated to get in the way of the powerful Mummies, he allowed much fouling in the corner, and eventually, former Dwarf Runner Parin Rockbow, in his new form of a Thro-Ra, got the ball and protected it from the sinners.
Despite the Elven efforts, the half ended with no score, but not before the Blitz-Ra and former Vampire Cobrandex badly hurt J. Stalin, then crowdpushed Linelf M. Kalinin who got a pinched nerve from the crowd. Also, Parin passed to Skeleton Intrad, who once was an Orc Blitzer, for the team's first completion.
The second half started with a deep Elf defense, despite a Blitz! kickoff roll. There were ten boned players for the eight Dark Elves. With the other Thro-Ra out, Parin had to do the scoring all by himself. Parin picked it up as the front line bashed through the meager Elf defense. Eventually, after a few setbacks, a cage was formed with all three Mummies on a corner, and the last taken by Cobrandex.
Two more of the wrong-doers were sent forward whilst three guarded the back door. As the Mummies slowly advanced, it was not Elves that were leaving the pitch, but rather Skeletons with their weak armor. It was then that M. Rjumin smashed the hand of former Slaanesh Beastman Amsturgth Gutmusher while he found life as a Skeleton and did not regenerate.
Only needing two Mummies to form a side wall, Parin advanced closer to the endzone. The others were held up by the persistant Elves, when a quick turnover due to a tired team allowed the Khemri to advance within scoring distance. All that had to happen was for Parin to walk it in, but the team was tired then and prone to making mistakes. Three Elves needed to be cleared away before he could score, and with two Mummies left, they couldn't mess up, or it would be all over.
First former Ogre Grunk smashed away one Linelf, and then it was former Treeman Bodanteal's turn to run faster than he had ever before and clear just one more Elf away. He went for it, made his hit, and...
...pushed him back! The path was clear for Parin to shuffle into the endzone, winning the game 1 - 0 just as time ran out.
After the game, coach Oblitzamanger prayed and thanked Nuffle for his victory. More fans would come to the temples in the future, and he recieved a gracious amount of money for his efforts. The team would celebrate in their rituals, and their former bodies would be could be proud of them. The Necromancer Oblitzamanger felt joy as his creations, who once were his best players long ago, had achieved a close but rewarding victory.”
