“The pow-happy Feign began the game in impressive style, knocking the delfs down and straight into the KO box. The darkness struck back with a KO of their own but the Feign just BH'd my witchelf.

However, the undead left the their ghoulish ballcarrier unprotected and, after a couple of nifty dodges, he was down - stunned - and the ball was elven. After switching the play, we took the ball out of zombie range and ran in a lazy turn six score.

The undead went for the two-turn response but a mis-throw scuppered their gameplan. After some frantic GFIs the delfs had two linelfs within td range. The zombies surrounded us, but more dodging and a gfi was followed by a perfect long bomb. A fortunate 2-0 at half time.

The elves were rusty and began a frankly ridiculous offense, not helped by a skull, skull 1dblock. The undead massed their ranks but superior speed once again proved key. By switching the play the delfs were able to get the ball up and away on the far wing. We took some tough blocks and a couple of fouls but we made the score in 2/5.

The undead had four full turns to hit back, and this drive the undead used their four man advantage to pin the delfs down. They scored in T7 to make it a deserved 3-1.”
