“Phew! another escape at the last minute by the Ultimate Superheroes! Just like in the comics.... maybe my oppos will learn one day... ;)

A great game with craziness aplenty.

First half. SSB got a blitz stopping the elf drive, but he over extended his AG5 blitzer who got fouled to SI AG-. apo worked. Elves managed to sneak a score despite snaking a gfi for the TD. Orcs never really got their counterattack up to speed and left Mr AG5 in the open again. this time he got ripped, with no apo to save him.

Second half. Elves set up 8 players on the pitch and try an early wiz to smash the cage. Onbly one BO is hit and he gets ripped leaving a small gap in the cage. Another gfi snake for the WD means that SSB can control the half and score at will. However in T15 the elves try a -2d blitz and push the blitzer with the ball to the edge of his cage. The brave elves the swamp the ballcarrier forcing SSB to make some hits. Bob clears his ballcarrier free to score and force the OTS attempt from elves, but a moment of madness (that the woody coach likes to attribute to his baiting metagame) causes him to make a 2d block with no RR. SKULLS! Game over. Superheroes win! It was the indomitable Captain America, leader of the Superheroes who performed the game winning feat!

A very enjoyable game with elves again out bashing and out fouling orcs. Yar!
