The premier of Royal Rookie Rumble LVII pitted two raging norse berserker teams against each other. The Kraken Skadistad were better trained and had a broader squad with two reserves while the Beerhall Blitzers had a more risky lineup with a snorting Minotaur beast ready to cause havoc.

The match became a battle of winning over the marginals, and both teams had to rely on several 1 die blocks and risky moved to outmaneuver the opponent and manage a TD. Kraken Skadistad scored theirs in the 8th of the first half, and the Beerhall Blitzers tied the match and brought it to over time in the 16th.

In OT neither team managed to score, so sadly the match had to be resolved by a coin toss. The Beerhall Blitzers and their hung over coach had luck on their side and won the toss, and are now ready for the 2nd round of the tournament.
