“A Even match up, but my bad luck cost me again. Fast forward though to last turn. I have my Defense for the pass all set up. My One ghoul is blocked still into the catchers tackle zone by a linemen, a Skull/pow. a RR produces a POW! Im BH'd. Then the thrower goes up for the pass. target4, passes with a 6, ok that would work, then the catcher rolls a 2 on catch, uses catch, and gets a 3, he caught the ball! Then the catcher needs 10 spaces to score, ok. 2 successful gfi's later, i lose.
All game i was cursed with bad plays, and i couldnt pull it out. I did have some good luck on both my scores, but on Defense, it was bad.
“An opening pitch invasion (4 stuns) and a backfield drop by Flavor Flav giftwrapped an opening score for the Reapers, but the Old School came back strong with a quick response (after being delayed by a perfect defense), then forced a turnover after a daring ghoul rushed through the defenses... 2-1 School at the half.
A bad kick to start the second half left the School scrambling to defend, but they did eventually force another turnover. Greed cost them a score, though.. the Reapers were able to recover the ball, as the hip-hop legends overplayed the ball near the sideline, but were only able to get a both down result (from ogre Kurtis Blow... his second both down of the game, to go along with his three bone heads failed, and five turns spent in the KO box), with the ball bouncing right to an open ghoul. Easy tying score.
The final two-turn score was essentially as described by my opponent... I had to use a one-die chain push to free up the catcher, and I got the push (with a knockdown to boot) I needed with a reroll. It made the GFIs scary for sure.
