The N'orks were pretty happy to be facing goblins in the semis, especially with one of the trolls missing. But it would never do to underestimate the littl'uns, especially with RRR veteran SideshowBob at the helm, not to mention a certain Ripper Bolgrot bolstering their lineup...
And indeed in the first, some inventive plays from the goblins made it hard for the orcs to progress - even with a fair few of their number KO'd or surfed, the plucky little guys managed to knock the ball clear in turn 7, luckily the pickup came off for a turn 8 score.
Then a good kick prevented the TTM attempt, leaving it one nil with the goblins receiving. But with their trolls tied up, or in one case failing RS rolls every other turn, they needed to pull off some dodges to move the ball - and this half nuffle didn't smile on them. After one failed dodge left the ball on the ground, most of the half was spent in a scramble to pick up - with the orcs succeeding in the end, although too late to score a second. So... unlucky SsB, but for the N'orks the final beckons...”
