“It was with some worry at least the skinks of the Coldbloods took the field against the dwarves of Lard, even if there was only 10 of them.

The dwarves recieved and perhaps stunned by the sight of skink Sidesteppa badly hurting a longbeard, the dwarves left an opening in their otherwise tight cage for a saurus blitz, knocking the ball loose...

..A skink stormed in and picked up the ball, by alas - he didn't get far enough and was taken down by a longbeard, the ball landing between the crowd.

..fortunately by the Coldblood crowd, to rewarded their heroes by throwing the ball far into the dwarf end, and the race was on.

Eventually the lizards could run in the ball for a 1-0 lead that stayed until halftime.

The skinks received the ball and took their time blocking until a turnover reminded them to form a 4 saurus cage.

As that got surrounded by longbeards a small quartet stole down one sideline, eventually running in the ball for a 2-0.

Hightlights of the last turns was a pass to a longbeard for an equalizing TD.

The ref, obviously bribed with offers of dwarven ale did nothing to stop the short ones meciless kicking and biting, but luckily their foul play had no ill effects.
