If i'm remembering well, i had a Illegal drug (Strengh) on a vermin. The game started fairly well. The team fouled out his dangerous clawed player. Setting a player in scoring position was not easy at first. But we blocked many times the Chaos during our turns and it finally payed when most of them were in the KO box. They still manage to get the ball twice during our attack, but as we had the control of the field, we could easily get it back. When we could score (turn 5or 6), he had 7 players KO, we did so because we had a great probability to score during his drive. And we did so.
2-0 were perfect, and despite his players were coming back from the box, we had already won the match. That was not counting on their ferocious behaviour, and as he scored for his attack (start half 2) they slim our team to few players.
The "already won" match let the skaven too proud of the win, and they wanted to mock the chaos from the injury, KO box. But too many had that behaviour, and Chaos came back to score once and twice more.
I'm somewhat shameful of the team. But as they correctly went out of the rebuilding period, i will take it on myself.
You did a good job, for going to the win. Many of the Chaos coach would have be happy with scoring only once, and wouldn't have fight for the win. Congratulations. ”
My cursed warriors must have been lined up like bowling pins for Rats Menent to start the match. One by one they went down, and repeatedly got knocked out. I think I had 8 in the KO box at one stage and 4 on the field. I was resigned to a heavy defeat, with so few players available that a landslide scoreline was on the cards.
That was when Panda_ made a mistake. He scored his second TD in turn 8.
With two quickfire kick offs as I completed my own turn 8, I got back to 9 on the field. After a turn or two I had managed to reduce his side to 9. I scored quickly 3 turns into the second half, and all of a sudden it was my team with the numerical superiority. His av7 players crumbled into their own KO box - 5 in there by the time I scored my second on turn 14. Still, he lined up with enough players to make a 2 turn winner seem unlikely... but a blitz gave me that extra time and space required to steal the ball for a last ditch glorious winner.
I think the crucial point, other than the blitz kick off, was that his only gutter runner missed the last 2 plays. That extra speed and agility would probably have enabled him to hold on the ball long enough to secure a draw.
Great game Panda_!”
