A fearful Wiel runs for his life down the tunnel after the game as his team mates try and chase him down for a kicking. Two failed Quick Passes to release Runners into the melee (despite rerolls!!!) saw DV8 fail to take the lead and then respond to the Darksides own TD score.
With no adverse weather to blame and Rerolls used the fault firmly rests with Wiel's paws. Post match commentators speculated he had been playing long hours on computer games and that his paws had seized up.
Luck certaintly was a factor and DV8 benefitted in bucket loads - except when it really mattered.
Frustrating match.”
