The Woodies challenged my depleted Undead, and I thought, "What the hell?", I need a recovery match badly, and Woodies are pretty unlikely to harm my team any further, so despite thinking I would be heavily beaten by the agile Elves, I took the game on.

I was right, or so I thought.

My one tackle Undeads had much trouble putting the Elves down, and despite receiving the kickoff, by half-time, I trailed 3-0 and it was looking like I'd be embarrassed. And then it all went crazy.

Elves began failing rolls left, right and centre. I'd only managed to BH one Elf in the first half, their better Wardancer, but that all changed. On turn 1, their other Wardancer RIP'd on a GFI, and after yet more good dice, my skilless Wight picked the ball up and scored after the fourth turn. I still thought I was going to lose by far, however, and even remarked to my opponent not to worry about his Elves on the touchlines, as the game was over, I wouldn't be surfing them. Turn 6, and a 1 allows a blitz on the ballcarrier, 3-2.

Turn 7, a failed ag5 to ag6 short pass let us in, but we still needed a risky pass to make it 3-3, the ball missed the receiver in turn 8.... Bounced...Scattered....Into his arms!

A lesson in never giving up, and Nuffle always having the last word, despite how the game seems to be going. I hope my opponent manages to rebuild, although I doubt he'll grant me a rematch, it's on the table. Maybes when my Darkies reach this tr?

I don't blame him for being a little mad at the end, the game went simply crazy. I expect this is a hell of a replay to watch, sports fans! ;)
