“Abyssmal luck for poor Lhorian turned out to be good luck for me. I characteristically blew all my GFIs, but fortunately managed to recover in most cases while Lhorian had a whole lotta trouble grabbing the ball one the rain started and threw a lot of bad blocks. Thanks to those turnovers off of 2 die blocks, my own failed rolls didn't hurt my position as much as it could have.

The niggle came late in the second half when I threw a block on a lino to clear a path to snag the ball. The death came on turn 7 of the second half when the blitzer was GFI'ing to set up a cage that lead to Morrim's TD on turn 8. If only he'd known that I was much more interested in keeping my rats alive and was going to let him score just to keep from taking risks.
