“This was a tightly fought rematch. My ag4 players, especially Patriarch, had the ball handling skills that made the difference.
A slightly poor defense of the ball carrier allowed me to steal the ball to score early on, Frederick nipping in under the arms of a mummy to knock the zombie into the empty wing where the handy Patriarch scooped up and threw the ball to create the open touch down.
Despite a zombie catching a scatter, again the mobility showed as a scrap saw the ball pop out and get taken away by Patriarch for another throw and a second touchdown.
Whilst taking heavy hits and players warming the KO and injury box, my team was still dominating the ball play. Only an interception by a mummy on my second half drive made the opportunity for Zuul to make it 2-1 with my numbers low and players out of position.
A decent return of 3 out of 4 from the KO box meant sure I had enough players to prise open his defense for a final completion and 3rd TD. As it says in his bio, Patriarch has magic hands.
Funniest moment of the match was when Frederick got badly hurt bringing a smile to the faces of both coaches. Zuul cheered as the best player was out. I cheered as, my apothecary spent, it meant my star player survived the game unscathed!”
