“A great game but one in which I will rue a moment of stupidity.

On my first drive I had it all set up. 2 squares away from the endzone with the ball in hand, in a tz with an equal strength marker. The plan? Do a few blocks, then 1d blitz to push away then, if necessary, dodge. So... ack, somebody is talking to me whilst I'm playing, talking rubbish about bad traffic this morning. I can listen and play... Block, block, blitz, block. What!? Blitz? Block? Not only do I use up the blitz, but in my daydreamy state I then block with the ball carrier so can't dodge. GREAT! Attempt to add some cover results in a failed dodge, leaving an easy steal and there's nothing I can do as a few more failed dodges leave my team completely exposed.

This was a 2-2 game + idiotic mistake which meant it was a 2-1 game. Next time somebody is talking rubbish to me I think it is time to turn up the volume on my headphones. *sigh*”
