Gruene scored quickly after receiving the opening kickoff, which was no great surprise. What WAS controversial however was them scoring again on the Girlz drive, due to coach Prasomchai underestimating their speed and thus leaving his ball carrier unprotected!

This second score happened late in the half, so the Girlz contented themselves with removing Elves from the field of play...

In the second half, more brilliant play from Gruen saw them manufacture another turnover and score! 3-0! However, the Girlz were able to get a late consolation TD by virtue of the lack of Elves on the field at the end.

Interviewed after the match, coach Prasomchai reported, "That team was just too damn good for us. But it didn't help that I got my tactics all wrong. You live and learn! The girls do too, and we will be studying the footage and improving as a result. This is a minor blip, and we will be back to winnings ways before you know it!"
