“FIRST HALF

Turn 1
The norse team received the ball and started bashing both left and right. They got several humans knocked prone and ended turn with blitzer Väinämöinen carrying the ball on their left wide zone covered by Hiisi.

Makos got Hiisi knocked prone as Neusis and Tethuleas were placed to prevent Mehtäläiset from running through on their left side. Also catcher Artus was prepared to stop the norse from scoring. Makos ogre Orca meets his first skull trying to block at LoS.

Turn 2
Mehtäläiset moves more men to cover the ball.

Makos thrower Neusis blocks Väinämöinen who drops the ball. Center field is a chaotic mess and the wide zone where the ball is gets's more and more crowded by both norse and human players. The other wide zone is open for either team.

Turn 3
Mehtäläiset clears the field around the ball and thrower Ukko passes it closer to the end zone where 2 norse players are waiting after knocked down the human catcher. The ball is 1 square from end zone waiting to be picked up.

Human catcher Artus dodges away and picks up the ball but his pass misses and they suffer a turnover.

Turn 4
The ball is still on the Makos half with a human lineman and blitzer close to it. The norse team starts to move men towards the ball but at the same time keeping the occupied wide zone busy. The ball is blocked clear and norse blitzer Kekri picks it up but fails the GFI roll.

Makos catcher Artus picks the ball again and moves quickly over to the other half where he's alone with the ball.

Turn 5
Mehtäläiset recovers and after a succesful blitz from Kakkiainen Artus is knoed prone and the ball is safe. Lineman Perkele picks up the ball.

Perkele is knoced prone by human lineman Tonian and the ball scatters. The game as well as the players has spread now all over the field.

Turn 6
Norse team makes some blocks and soon Kakkianen fails to pick up the ball. Center of gravity is now on the right hand wide zone.

The humans make a few blocks and wait for the norse to try and pick up the ball.

Turn 7
Mehtäläiset makes way in the middle of human defence zone and ogre Tapio comes down to help getting the ball. Area around the ball is cleared from human players. On the other wide zone human thrower Neusis is KO'd by norse thrower Ukko. Cather Kakkiainen picks up the ball.

The human ogre Orca makes a succesful blitz and comes close to the ball. While moving more players to defend Makos blitzer Rymus was tackled on the other wide zone and suffered turnover.

Turn 8
Mehtäläiset makes room around the ball to make a safe pass. Kekri blocks Artus who is KO'd. Thrower Ukko moves to end zone and waits for the ball. Kakkiainen tries to pass to blitzer Nyyrikki who fails to catch.

Human blitzer Viper tries makes an unlucky block and is knocked out.

SECOND HALF

Turn 1
The Makos was receiving the kick. Cathcer Tethuleas picks up the ball. The humans start to make holes in the norse defence.

The norse team answer is hitting back. Some stunns as a result and their own cather KO'd.

Turn 2
Orca blocks Kekri who is KO'd. Tethuleas moves the ball to their left wide zone and makes a risky pass to blitzer Rymus who succeeds and runs till he is 1 square from TD. A touchdown looks certain. Then something strange happens: Lineman Eionan comes to assist tackling at LoS as he fails the GFI and falls down. Everyone could immediately see that he was dead.

The norse had only a small chance to prevent the TD. The ball was too far away to be blitzed so the only chance was to make a hard time for the human to move. With 2 blitzers who both had to make 2 GFI's the norse coach now prayed for for help. Also a thrower came closer in case the human blitzard would fail in dodging.

Turn 3
Well... He does fail! Incredible! Crowd goes crazy (well the game had been crazy all the way)!

The norse lineman Hittavainen is positioned for an attack on the right wide zone as the blitzers make way closer to the ball. Thrower Ukko picks up the ball

Turn 4
Blitzer Rymus blocks Ukko but gets only a pushback. Kria comes to help.

Norse catcher Hiisi blocks teh way of the human blitzer Xylo. Blitzers Nyyrikki and Väinämöinen clears the path for thrower Ukko who runs and passes to lineman Hittavainen who approaches the human end zone.. The ogre Tapio hits lineman Saboni at LoS and knocks him out. Lineman Perkele blocks lineman Tonian who is unfortunately seriously injured. Only 5 humans on the pitch now.

Turn 5
Makos blitzer Xylo dodges away and blitzes Hittavainen who has the ball but gets only pushback. Ogre Orca gets his second skull and causes turnover.

Half the norse team moves to ensure a TD. Catcher Hiisi blitzes Xylo away from the ball and Hittavainen scored 1-0 for Mehtäläiset.

Turn 6
Tethuleas picks up the ball again. Viper fails to dodge after a succesful blitz-block.

Norse team flanks from both wide zones. Nyyrikki blitzes Tethuleas and the ball scatters. Thrower Ukko breaks through and picks it up, then passes to Hiisi.

Turn 7
Makos team moves towards the ball carrier but fail to knock him down. Orca hits his 3rd skull and causes turnover. Bad luck. Bad luck.

Mehtäläiset tries to bash the humans near the ball but one remains left as thrower Ukko meets his skull.

Turn 8
Everyone is now around the ball on the human half of the pitch. With too many norse players near the ball a pow/skull is the best the humans can come up with. Blitzer Rymus is on his way to help when he is tackled by Perkele.

Mehtäläiset succeeds in clearing the path with a few blocks and catcher Hiisi runs and makes a TD with 2 GFI's! 2-0 and end of game.

It was one of my craziest games ever and obviously my best in the league so far. A great deal of my succes is in the bad luck of KIDD's dice in inportant situations. I myself had very good luck. I didn't always play a I should have but the dice saved me.

It's a pity that KIDD lost a player. Hope you recover, mate! We have a lot to do to make the end of the season interresting in the western conference!
