“Not too happy about this match. Got a generic "want to play my orcs?"
challenge and I assumed I was going to play the orc team that was
9 SR higher. Instead I get matched against an orc team that is 22 SR
up, with a wizard (basically a guaranteed turnover for ogres on 1 drive).
I guess my fault for not asking which team, but lame nonetheless, especially
when the other orc team is listed first in his profile.
Opponent still had 100% luck by turn 4, while I rolled double skulls
three times in the first half. Lost a goblin to a (6,6), (6,6), 6,
leaving me with only 9 players (handicap came "It wasn't me" so I started
the game with 10). Assorted other random bad luck like perfect D basically
crippled my chances of doing anything this game. The one good drive I had
set up got the cage busted by fireball.
Lost FF, 0 winnings, dead +AG goblin (who took MVP), and had almost no shot at winning because of the deception. Fun times.
To respond to my opponent: A game cannot be remade for that reason. Once the clients connect with agreed teams we are obligated to play. And yes, I realize wizards are hired by some players, but it doesn't mean I'd want to play against one with a team of mostly AG 2 players. Yes, it was a bad fireball, but it ultimately opened my cage up for a block, and ruined any chance I had of scoring. I don't mean for my tone to sound so bitter, but I do feel you should have been more responsible in clarifying which team; especially since you don't use IRC and it's cumbersome for somme to send PMs back and forth. Like I said, I know it's my fault for not checking all your teams first, but I don't have to be happy about it.
You played well and probably would have won anyway. ”
“¿? Why you dont say nothing? We can reloaded the game since turn 0 but you dont said me nothing.
The wizard is hired by very much players and only pull down 2 of your 5 ogres with him. So, you cant make the TD in turn 6 running since the center of the camp.
I´m really sorry about your luck, but this is only a game. My star are niggled and nothing happens, its only a game.
