The Beerhall Blitzers met Bagrum's Bashers in the 2nd round of the RRR. Coach Spearhead mentioned some concern over his injured blitzer, putting him at 4 blocks vs 10 on my side. That would show to be a misplaced concern. The Bashers played at the top of their game and just refused to fail the blocks, which lead to the Blitzers being left with a tremendous amount of stuns.
I guess I had quite a bit of luck with the injury rolls considering the ferocious amount of successful blocks my poor norse had to endure, but then again it was luck on my opponents behalf that made the situation get to that point...
It was just an uphill struggle for the Blitzers, and where the 1 die blocks on the norse side constantly ended up with skulls the Bashers kept hitting the 1 die blocks even when they were non-blockers against my norsemen.
Spearhead had the chance to surf two of my guys in the final turn of the match. I'm not sure I would call it noble to not do it, but I'm still happy that he didn't.
