Decent game with 2 stars, a wizard and a runesmith to keep the fans happy, and it didn't disappoint. The Dwarves took the opening kick-off, and right on cue, Grim Ironjaw badly Hurt the Kroxigor of the Lizzie team, and we feared the worst. After 4 turns the Dwarves were stalling on our line, but we managed to get a few dodges into a 1db on the ball carrier, POW, failed hand-off and the blodge Skink Phil Gamble recovered the ball. He survived a single blitz action before sprinting the length of the field to score in turn 8. Great luck for the Lizzies, who were down by 4 players at the time, after the usual Dwarf bash fest.

Second half, and we had to field 5 Skinks, and a bare bones 11. Going for the quick icing score, we sprinted down one end of the field, and I made a n00b of the year mistake. Arcon managed a hit on the ball carrier, and I side stepped him into a tz of a blackle Dorf. Great move. Ball down, and it took 2 more turns of lucky Lizzie blocks to recover the ball and get the second.

A consolation came late for the Dorfs, but it was to no avail. A pitch invasion snuffed out any hope of a late equalizer. A reload in turn 4 messed up the luck statistic, but that's how it felt actually, and it's probably quite accurate. The Lizzies had Nuffle's blessing today.

Thanks to Arcon for a good match, he is a top opponent, and he will have his revenge one day soon, I expect! :D
