I knew I was screwed when I met dwarves with goblins, but to add the biggest dice rape in recorded history just to make sure I couldn't enjoy it on any plane was just extra salt in the wounds.

If LotR_Ranger wasn't a nice guy he could have cleared the pitch. I rolled more 1's on stupidity rolls than any of the other numbers combined and generally just failed everything I attempted, and for my opponent it was the other way around. Add him getting the ref (not using it though), perfect defense, extra rerolls two or three times, while I was awarded with bad kicks that meant that the dwarves never had to bother with picking the ball up cut off any chances of using extreme tactics to try to get an advantage.

This was just a slow pain, and if I didn't allready have a rule about never playing dwarves outside of tournaments I would have implemented it after this one.

Nothing personal, LotR. You seem like a nice guy. And it's fun that someone new to the game gets a good start...but when you have played for a while you will probably look back at this game and chuckle, because you will likely never outclass someone in luck this way again :)
