A total farce of a game. Disregard the luck readings, they are totally out. I got blitzed to start the game, managed to survive that and push forwards but everything I do is thwarted as my opponent makes dodges without rerolls all day long. Something like 20-30 dodges in the first half. Me, I roll double skulls after double skulls, or fail crucial hand offs etc.

Thanks to my double skull rolling bonanza, I turn over the ball and he almost scores.

Second half, the BS luck continues with me rolling double skulls etc whenever it is crucial. My opponent continues to dodge all over the place, though he fails the odd one now and then, but never anything that causes a turnover at the wrong time.

I manage to contain him in his backfield and I am about to win the ball when of course I roll yet another 1, and the whole pitch opens up and he ends up scoring.

I have a chance to score on turn 8 to tie the score. Two dice blitz and then I need to throw a pass. Of course the two dice blitz is double skulls again.

To top off the game, my only advance roll (31 SPP) brings a niggle, continuing the team's unlucky aging.

The game was a total farce with nothing I tried coming off as my opponent made all the crucial rolls, whereas I failed mine. It was just one of those games that was very unfun and total BS.

My opponent played well, he certainly didn't need all the help from the dice and it is unfortunate that the luck took away any vestige of a contest.”
